This programme is designed for high school students between 14-19 years old who are looking at studying a particular subject at university as well as gaining knowledge about the university application process.

CBL International study abroad programmes are addressing students worldwide. The programme welcomes delegates from all over the world, and we have hosted participants from more than 100 nationalities, including North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, India, Far East, and Australia and New Zealand. You will experience a truly international summer.

No previous knowledge on your subject choice is required. It is possible that the contents of the different modules and lectures appear very wide ranging, but the lectures are designed to engage the participant who has no prior knowledge of topics covered. Taking account of the diversity of students’ disciplinary backgrounds, this program is designed to be informative for all attending delegates.

All programmes are held in English, therefore we expect all delegates to have a good level of English which allows them to interact with fellow delegates, as well as faculty members, and CBL International team members. In case you are not a native speaker, our courses offer an excellent opportunity for you to fully immerse yourself in an English-speaking environment.

Besides the stimulating lectures you’ll receive from well qualified teachers and tutors, participants are kept fully engaged with a variety of extra-curricular activities, excursions to famous places and historical landmarks, and guest speakers organised by CSA. It’ll be one of the most memorable summers you’ll ever have, we promise.

Cambridge Summer Academy is a certified programme. On completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate signed by the programme director from WorldStrides|CBL International. As CBL International is a WorldStrides organization, individuals who have submitted assessments will receive a WorldStrides academic transcript detailing the assessments taken and the results. Participating in a 2-week session of CSA provides a delegate with 1 high school credit. College credit may also be available through University of California San Diego (UCSD).
